My two great uncles were there.

My 2x grandfather and his two brothers were there also besieging Knoxville. Some two months before another relative of mine...more distant...Col. W.N. Garrett... and his regiment would be part of the surrender when Frazer was duped by Burnside at the Cumberland Gap.
