Good observation. The mention of citizenship remined me of my Great Grandpa Alex. He came here in about 1847 but did not become a citizen until after the war because of his service. THank you for that. Two of my Uncles on my fathers side kind of did that in WW1. They became citizens in four years instead of seven due to their Military service. I wonder if that works today?
