Doesn't it Frank? Isn't there a provision for "illegals" that serve in the US Military that grants them citizenship after their term of service? However it is that they can serve in our military while not being legal citizens of the country. And thanks for the kind words associated with my post. I am die hard Southern. I do everything I can to help organizations like the UDC and the SCV and other smaller splinter groups to honor our ancestors and promote the legacy of patriotism that they exhibited. At the same time I honor those in blue as a reenactor and as a "spokesman" for the history that so few understand. I'll state again how much I have learned from this board. And I'll say how fortunate I am to be able to discuss back and forth the issues that drove us apart so few years ago with folks like yourself. James will be responding to this, the "old Ivan" that he is. But I can't tell him that western North Carolina BBQ will gag you. Eastern is the only recipe.
