Not to upset the ladies, but there is a plant called "horney goat weed"; perhaps your ancestor's goat had fortified her milk. LOL The WTBS once removed, but when my grand dad's first wife died, he went up to Cherokee county and arranged to marry my grandmother. She was 15, and he was 42. My dad was born in 1913, when Granddaddy was 54. Nothing that unusual. It just always interested me that he was so much older than her, as his dad, my ggf who died at Seven Pines, was 28 years YOUNGER than my ggm, Mahaley. She was a widow to another Boring, who died before the war. My gf was born in 1859, thank goodness, or I wouldn't be here. I have never found any evidence Mahaley and Lemuel were married, as her name was already Boring. Hmmm... Stan
