Anyone know of a drive to build such a museum to house this entire collection?
Think of all the other authentic Confederate memorabilia that would suddenly emerge from attics, private collections, and elsewhere if there were built a Confederate Museum with sufficient space to hold this collection with room to expand as the collection grew. What an opportunity!
Too bad the prospects of building such a museum would trigger an instantaneous reaction from so many that it would stop the project - unless a very wealthy, southern benefactor could be found.
If such a benefactor could be found, where might there be a plot of politically correct ground on which to build a real Museum of the Confederacy?
