No, sir, I don't have my flags confused. I have the Stars and Bars framed and mounted on the wall above my desk. It has great symbolic and sentimental meaning to me. I display the Stars and Stripes on my front porch. That's the flag that I was born under, served under, and pledged my allegiance to.
I haven't suddenly developed a resentment of the South. I'm surprised that my posts would lead you to that conclusion. I'll wager that my Southern "credentials" stretch back a lot farther and deeper than most. What I rail against are those who make us Southerners into caricatures to be mocked or despised by the rest of the country. I do resent those who hijack our Southern heritage and use it for radical socio-political ends.
