In my opinion, those who do not challenge the interpretations of history, must suffer the interpretations of others who will write it for them. TOO, much of our history today is not the history we were taugh 100, 50, or even 25 years ago. Did the events of History change? I don't believe so. There was a very valid reason why MANY People, not only in the South but all across the Northern states also, who called this war "MR. LINCOLN'S WAR".

But we are dealing with a demigod here and the end results justifies the methods and the means of acomplishing his purpose. But what was that REAL Purpose?

So the next time someone robs a bank and gets away with the money just remember this example. That he is entitled to that money, because those people who put the money in the bank have too much anyway and don't need it, if they have put it into a bank in the first place. It is better for that robber if he is rich now rather than being poor. Because if he were still poor he would have to commit some other crime to get rich. How he obtained that wealth doesn't matter. All that matters is that he is now rich. So we should not condeam him because he didn't play by the rules which governed the conduct of everyone else.
