I didn't see the whole program but from what I saw there were some eye-opening parts. One black historian said that to "defend Lincoln was to defend slavery". The round table discussion brought up the familiar statement that Lincoln was a man of the period and modern judgements did not apply; I would have liked to have seen their opinions on other men of the period that have not been given that pass lately. All in all I enjoyed it.
