Gibbons claims that anyone who didn't join the Native Guards would be killed.

But on cross-examination he couldn't name anyone who didn't join...that was killed.

There were about 2300 free black males (ages 15-50) in New Orleans. About half that number served in the NG companies and the other half didn't.

Gibbons' testimony is not worth much.
