Re: Is this the Ivanhoe?
In Response To: Is this the Ivanhoe? ()

This has been the strangest 'find' I've ever seen. The lack of immediate possesion of materials and or pieces from it by the fine Archaeology Department at University of West Florida or any other historical searchers tells me you're on the right track. We had a few wrecks with fewer pieces and at later dates get more attention by the education organizations. The Catherine comes to mind but that's another era.

It's amazing that the first unearthing came with Ivan. Then we get more from another' I' named hurricane. Now, we have another 'I' storm that uncovers all of it. Could this be the 'I'vanhoe? 'I' wouldn't be surprised. I also believe someone, Mother Nature, Blackbeard's Ghost or someone else is trying to get us to pay attention to it. Why? I don't know but it sure seems like it's trying to talk to us.
