Got it Alan. Morale would have been very high in the country, particularly in the South. However, 1850 was not so good and that might have been a better year. Anyway, it was the right time period because the Great Centrailizer would not be POTUS yet and there would have been no invasion. What I am saying is that Secession did not cause the War, Lincoln started it.
