I have been working on a master casualty list for the Confederate forces at the battle of Murfreesboro/Stone’s River. The main source for this research has been National Archives Microfilm Publication M836: C.S.A. Casualties - List and Narrative Reports 1861-1865, Roll 4, Tennessee and Texas.

A major problem that I have encountered has been with the 10th South Carolina Infantry and the 19th South Carolina Infantry that are not included on the National Archives microfilm.

While I have been able to gather a few names of the casualties for these two regiments, they fall far short of the numbers shown in the Official Records.I would be most appreciative for any and all assistance in my effort to produce casualty lists for these units. My efforts are not confined to simply listing a name, but to verify it for correct spelling, etc.

Any information, from a single name to casualty lists from newspapers, will be appreciated. Please feel free to email me with information, I will answer all. I do ask, however, that you cite the source of your information.

Upon completion of my project, it is my intention to have it posted on a website where it will be available to anyone interested.
