Regarding the casualty list that I have been compiling for the 10th and 19th South Carolina at Murfreesboro, I still have a long way to go.
The 10th South Carolina reported 16 killed, 91 wounded and 2 missing, total 109. I have accounted for 81 of the 109. Most certainly, there were considerably more than 109 casualties. I have been unable to find any casualties listed for Company F.
The 19th South Carolina reported 8 killed and 72 wounded, total 80. I have accounted for 57 of the 80. I have been unable to find casualties for Companies E and F.
It is my attention to give it a couple of months more in hopes of obtaining more names, then to post them here.
In addition, please keep me in mind should anyone have or come across any information on these two regiments at Murfreesboro so that I can include it in my book.
