19th S.C. - Casualty List for Murfreesboro

Hi,

I transcribed the following from the "History of Edgefield County from the Earliest Settlements to 1897" by John A. Chapman, orginally published in 1897, Reprnted by Genealogical Publishing Co., Inc. 1997.

Note: For some reason Co. K, in the book has the date as December 31, 1863. I think this is a typo, but I left it, just in case.................

I included any author's notes that I thought would be informative and made very small changes, such as abbreviating Tenn as TN.

John T. Norris 2nd Lt., age 21, wounded at Murfreesboro, TN, and died of his wounds at Chattanooga

J.R. Padgett, age 28, Sergeant; promoted from ranks, wounded at Murfreesboro

Privates:

Henry Grice, age 21, died at Murfreesboro of wounds received there.

William Kirkland, age 18, wounded at Murfreesboro.

William E. Lott, age 16, wounded at Murfreesboro.

William A. Mitchell, age 16, killed in battle at Murfreesboro
