You're exactly right, messages should not be posted with commercial or "for sale" offerings, except the books and published offerings of our "Contributing Authors" or for nearby CW reenactments, shows or other events of interest to the people on this board.

In the case of this posting, I left it on the site for the specific reason that I wanted to get more detail as to how these markers were acquired and to advise the poster of the severe penalties for obtaining and selling these items.

I hope the ultimate result of allowing this posting to remain on the site, is that the markers are turned over to the proper people and what appear to be, the desecrated graves of these Civil War veterans are returned to their appropriate state.
