Lynn,

I hope that things turn out better for you.

Culpepper National Cemetary, where the Michigan fellow is buried, and Arlington National Cemetary are two different cemetaries. Plus, the odds of a SC Confederate Civil War Soldier being buried at Arlington are slim to none. I haven't heard of any being buried at Arlington.

Perhaps you heard "National Cemetary" and thought Arlington. Did your friend sell these items to you or give them to you?

I realize that you are in need of money, but I think in the case of the two headstones, it would be nice if you gave them to your local historical society. Explain it to them. If the story your friend said is true, then maybe, after verification with the correct cemetary, they can use them in an exhibit.
