This info is in a letter dated 11-22-1864 From Col. Isaac
F. Hunt, Cmdr, of 13th Reg. to S. Cooper, A&I General in
Richmond requesting promotion to Co. Cmdr. A Co. for John
Calhoun Raiford. The letter is in the National Archives and
also in the SC Dept. of Archives & History in Columbia,
South Carolina 29211.
