I have my gg grandfathers service records ( John Quincy Adams Shaver). I am not sure if my mother has Elmira Jane Bolen Shaver's records. I'm pretty sure she doesn't have Jesse's but I bet one of my cousins does. We still have a family reunion of John Q's children every year in Dayton, Th ( Rhea county). There is also a group of us descendants that are in the middle of starting a John Shaver chapter of the UDC. John was a minister and educator and the church he started is still functioning in Dayton. The home they lived in is not, seems that when TVA started the dam building in the area their land and two story house was put under water. I'll be happy to share any info if anyone is interested in this family or their connections. They were in TN back to the early 1800's and some of the cousins have pulled togther enough information to begin organizing a book. Thank you for your time and your kind post. If I can be of any help to you please let me know. I actually have a lot of connections in TN some more interesting than others.
