Over the years, I was able to view [on site, in the research room] most of the letters, orders and telegrams sent by Pemberton, but the NARA staffers were never able to locate the letters he received. Since then, various research services have been unable to access the letters sent for copying.

I tried contacting Mike Musick, only to find he had retired a few years ago.

Frustrating.
