Thank you for taking the time to research this for me. I really appreciate it.

If I may: I'm not sure how we could say the M.F. Young in the 9th is Moody Young. I would be surprised if Moody would transfer out of a unit in which he enlisted & served with his brother, Allen H. Young, who stayed in Co. I of the 6th & died as a member of this company. Anything is possible but I would think this unlikely.

There is an MWJ Young in the 6th (Chalmers co. ?). I've wondered if this might be Moody.

Some of Moodys records must have been lost because I'm sure his transfer would be mentioned if it did in fact happen.

I used to think that the survival rate of records for each man within a given company would be the same. Now I'm starting to think that this varies from man to man.
