Chattanooga - Cassady/Casaday

My GG Grandfather's [James Henry Cassady/Casaday] Civil War service record is a puzzle. And, what parts I think I've found I can't prove to be him!! ~ My information is; he was killed while serving in the Confederate Army in GA. Just recently another bit of family history was found and it tells that the family was living in Chattaoonga TN when The Confederate Army came and took their father, James Henry Casaday, prisoner and took possession of the home. The family never saw their father after that. ~ I sent to the National Archives in 2002 and received a record for; Cassady, James H, CO G, 1 (Olmstead's) GA Infantry, Confederate, Private. Next column; same Company, Reg't ... "J.H. Cassidy appears on a list of casualties at Fort Johnson, James Island, SC ...killed on 12th Aug inst." ~ Another source (same date...) recorded as, Killed at Battery Wagner, Morris Island SC. Neither one had any personal information to identify the soldier. I'm hoping some additional records are available now. Help needed! Thanks, Bette
