Gerald, I'm sorry for the confusion. Robert and Field both enlisted in Louisiana regiments (8th,14th) as they were both living there at the time. John was living in Missouri and enlisted in the 9th State Guard. The last uncle enlisted in a Tennessee regiment. The membership form for the UDC was filled out by my great great grandmother in Weakley County where some of the family lived. Since he was the only one of the four killed i just can't see where she would have made a mistake living in Tennessee but i guess anythings possible. Thank you for your time i really appreciate it.
