Southern Unionist in E.Tenn.(Knox,Blount,Sevier)

Hello, I am currently doing research on southern Unionists in E. Tenn. primarily in Knox,Blount, and Sevier Counties. I would like to focus on the political, social, and cultural aspects that made a majority of people in East Tennessee pro Union during the Civil War. If anyone has any resources to find old letters or diary entries and accessible photos of Knoxville historic figures (i.e. William Brownlow, James Sperry,Daniel Ellis, Kirby Smith, bridge burners) before and during the war, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.
