Hi Gary. Just accidently saw your letter. This is about the older brother of my gr grandfather. His name was Miller Hubbard Dixon, Jr. He was born in Fannin Co in 1841. Son of Miller Hubbard and Nancy Dixon. They are buried at Hampton Cemetary, in Fannin Co. We have never been able to determilne where Miller Hubbard Jr.as buried. He served at Battle of Corinth, Shiloh, Mumfordville, Perryville, and Murfreesboro. He rec'vd medical discharge June 25, 1864, and returned to Bonham. Doctor report in his Certificate of Disability for Discharge stated "chronic diarrhea resulting in deteriation of the bowels - extremely debilated - weighs only 93 lb." Miller Hubbard Dixon Jr. Doctor's report at time of death stated "died of bloody flux, weighs only 80 lbs."
