I think you meant Brush Battalion instead of Union POW's at Bonham, Fannin County.
You mentioned the Dixon-Peacock feud of the Hopkins-Fannin County area, which I did not find in David Pickering's (and Judy Fall's) BRUSH MEN & VIGALANTES. In their name index, I did find 1 Dickson, 3 Dixons, and no Peacocks.
Brush Battalion. I have spent a lot of time trying to make sense out the materials that mention the brush men. I have unearthed every document I could find that addresses these brush men.
