Ronnie and I were talking about what area in Bonham Texas the prisoners (Union - Confederate) plus guards might be buried at. No one seems to know.

I think they are in the old city cemetery, but do not know for sure. Have you ran across any info. on this subject?

Austin State Gazette, June 1,1864 ran a story that about 1,000 union soldiers were sent to Bonham Texas from Tyler Texas.

Also, here is a link to the Lee Peacock Feud that happened after the war.
