Bourland & Northern Frontier

I have a 19 page document of my grgr grandfathers reminiscences of the Civil War in Texas. The document was written by a genealogist in 1923 by the name of Rupert N Richardson.

I have not been able to find any record of my grgr grandfathers military service.

I am wondering if someone would be willing to read the document and tell me if the story is accurate and maybe what units he served with.

The file is 7.3 MB, so a dial up might take forever to get downloaded in an email.
