Lt. Rogers, from Texas

I am searching for info on a Lt. Rogers, from Texas He died Aug. 1864 legend is that he was shot or fell off a train in combat at Shadnor Church in Westbrook Ga. often called Union City or included in when referring to Red Oak, GA. My Westbrook ancestors who the town was named for buried Rogers in their family plot in the church cemetery. The only Taxes unit I have found with a Lt. Rogers that was in the area at the time was 2nd Lt William T. Rogers Co. A, 27th Texas Cav. I am working with the local SCV and surveying the cemetery for old soldiers who need grave markers. Rogers is one of the 40+ I have found from all wars. These include 18 unknown Confederates and 3 unknown Union soldiers who were killed in 1864. I would like to know if Rogers has any descendants to let them know that his grave will have be properly marker and is cared for. Another CSA soldier buried in the Westbrook plot is Daniel Hendrick died 1865 from wounds Mississippi. Thanks for any help.
