This is off the subject and is a crap-shoot, but my great-great-great-grandpartents were Thomas and Lucy Westbrook. They were from S. Carolina, near Rutherford County N. Carolina. They were one of the first three Anglo-American famiies to settle in Fannin County Texas in 1836. In July 1841, Thomas Westbrook was in the Republic of Texas punitive attack against Indians at Village Creek located in what is now Lake Arlington Texas. Could they be related to your Westbrook family in GA?

My great-great-great-great-grandfather and who was Thomas Westbrook's father, was captured and hanged for treason by British Col. Banestre Tarleton in 1781 and is remembered by a monument in the city of Charleston, SC.
