" ... That two men named Allen of Red River County and Brawley near mouth of Bois d’arc [Creek and Red River] of this county [Fannin County] believing him to be friendly to their party told him they wished him to join them as soon as possible, that [H.] Boren and his men understood each other. ...
.
P.S. — The man Allen of Red River County, referenced to by Adams, is a son-in-law of __ (? Gear), who is well known in that County. ... ”

.
The Brawley/ Braly was probably the Samuel S. Brawley (b-1815 NC) of Steven’s 22d Cav-1st Indian-Texas CSA Regt, or his son (? Harmon) Brawley (b-1839 NC).
.
H. Boren was Henry Boren (1828 AR-1868 Collin County, TX)
