Set my on trap! No I do not have John Estill's papers. You might write Stephen Kirk and ask. He collects and reads everything he can get his hands on. He is 85 and is finishing up a book on Ross'Brigade, I hope. It is scheduled to publish in July and was getting long the last I heard. "Stephen & Charlotte Kirk" <ckirk1@kc.rr.com>. The other Gear in Company E, 9th Texas Cavalry was KIA on 3 Oct. 1862 at Corinth II. There are some Estill Papers on the National Matrix. Did not try to get them. Janet Gear a Estill? A lot of the 6th and 9th boys married in Mississippi. To include my GGF.
I have no other info on your data. Wish I did. BN
