Provost Marshal Genl:

From a package of letters recently put in my hands I have learned that there is in St. Louis a place from whence letters are sent to the rebels.
Watch the house of Mrs. Alice Lyle No. 22 Saint Charles Street. A man by name Grimes is engaged in smuggling letters through to the rebels. This I learn from one letter.
