Warner, 4th Sergeant, August 25, 1862, taken prisoner September 8, 1862 at St. Charles Parish, recorded prisoner on board the U. S. Prison ship Algerine, New Orleans, October 5, 1862, last recorded present at the Jan/Feb, 1864 muster*, no further records
Waller’s Regiment Texas Cavalry was first organized as the 13th, or Waller’s, Battalion Texas Cavalries with five companies, A to E. Three additional companies to form a regiment.
* There are no subsequent company muster rolls in the files, as such, we cannot ascertain his subsequent service.
