30th Texas cavalry records

Hello, in 2009 I sent for the records of my GGGrandfather Nimrod Timothy Phillips. The records I was sent have a couple of things that several of us in our genealogy group are trying to figure out.
The records I received have what looks to be a N T Phillips one one card and below it a NB Phillips. Two other cards have NB Phillips also. We just noticed recently what looks like a "T" but then there are three places where it's a B. At the NPS site they have both a NP Phillips and a NB Phillips. Both of these records look to be the same as they state Gurley's, Co K and rank.

Does anyone happen to have any cards filled out/recorded by a "J. Nelson" so we can compare his writing styles?

We do have a pension application from Nimrods wife which was filed in 1927 and it states he was in Gurley's regiment. I have researched and found that those in Ellis Co that joined Gurley's were in Co K. On the records I received from HSites it also shows Gurley's Co K, rendezvous of 75 mile which is the distance from Midlothian to Waco.

Our genealogy group is trying to get a comfirmation on this record as to if this is our Nimrod.
