RE: Camp Ford

Mark; What are you looking for? I have a reconstructed prisoner list compiled from the exchange lists and supplemented by 20+ years of gleaning on the site. No official records of the site have survived with the exception of the exchange lists. However, my bibliography is now in excess of 300 entries. Documenting the guards is more problematical, although I do have a chronology of units who were assigned here.
The prisoner data base includes name rank regiment, place and date of capture, date of death [if applicable] date of escape if applicable, date of parole or exchange, and misc. notes on individuals if available. Currently there are 5,472 names in the data base. My estimate is that it is about 98% complete, as there are always a few people who fell through the cracks, and the lists of deceased prisoners compiled by the US QM Dept. are inaccurate and filled with duplications, misspellings, and ommissions.

Let me know what you need, I probably have it.
