Please let me know if you learn that these two "John W. Bone" service records belong to two different gents.

One in the Tx State Troops, 2nd Cavalry and Terry's Regiment, where the last record has him under arrest in Austin, March 1865.

The other was The leader of Cpt Bone's Unattached Company and in Bourland's Regiment. His last record is Oct 1864, present in Cpt. Bone's Co.

Census and genealogy seem to indicate this is possible.

Identical name, grade, and region? Mere coincidence or....

Anybody have any ideas on this?
