Since my last post, I have found that during the war, Dr. Holloway, (Assistant Surgeon CSA Army), wrote back to his family and "sweetheart" who he married in 1865. These letters were last in the possession of F. Byrd Holloway of Flintshire Farm (Caroline Co.) near Fredericksburg, VA. Mr. F.B. Holloway pass away in Aug. of 2007. This is a shot in the dark, but I am trying to findout who has these letters now. I would like to have copies of them, as I am writing a family history, and Dr. Holloway will have a few pages.
