I am trying to build a decent profile of most, if not all (impossible since most of the CSN records were destroyed at the fall of Richmond, in April, 1865) of the personnel who served in the CS Navy and Marine Corps. Of late I have also started biographical profiles of the personnel of the blockade runners and privateers, though the lines do get blurred, at times, since some CSN personnel also served aboard a few of the blockade runners and on some of the privateers.
I have even been obtaining unpublished sources, such as journals, letters etc., of the personnel of the CSN, as they also include much data not shown anywhere else.
Thanks to each and everyone who has helped in this endeavor. I know it will never be complete, but at least I can try to make it as complete as possible, given the lack of many records.
