Armistead's Regiment couldn't have been that many places at once. Some members of the regiment might have been present during the defense of Selma (April 2, 1865), but it clearly had not been broken up into various detachments as inferred. General Maury issued a steady stream of orders to Lt.Col. Spence during Canby and Steele's advance on Blakely and Spanish Fort. Presumably Maury believed Spence had a substantial number of men at his command, and yes, this regiment covered the withdrawal of Maury's army from Mobile.
With the exception of Captain Deupree of Co. "D", who was captured near Blakely on April 7, 1865, ten company captains, three field officers and five staff officers surrendered at Gainesville AL on May 14, 1865. Correction: two of these paroles took place at Meridian MS. Also, the major of this regiment was William Yerger, Jr. I cannot identify the Major Cox who was captured at Talladega.
