Amos Chaffin, Moreland's Reg Co E

According to ADAH Civil War Service Database, Amos T Chaffin mustered with Moreland's Regiment Co E and was severely wounded at Athens, AL

Based on what I've seen among the various sketches of Moreland's Regiment, it appears its members would have also ridden under the command of Forrest and/or Roddy at some point in the war.

I'm trying to find more information on Amos Chaffin aside from the links below. Perhaps he came from a Georgia command, but based on the number of Chaffin's in Moreland's Regiment, seems he may have been local to Lawrence County, AL. Does anybody have more?
