William Derrick is Loucinda Derrick Davis's father. His full name was William Randolph Derrick, widower of Margaret "Peggy" Waggoner, and he filed a claim for his son Andrew Derrick, who died at Jefferson Barracks, MO.

I currently maintain the findagrave page for Loucinda Derrick Chaffin and very recently visited her grave, and am very blessed to live on the Alabama-Tennessee state line, just minutes from the old homesteads and final resting places of many ancestors.
