Joel F. Shrum

Im trying to find out information on Pvt.Joel F.Shrum.I have one record stating between 1861-1865 he served as a Pvt in K CO,2nd Reg Tn Inf,(Robinsons).Another shows him as serving in Co K 20th TN INF.I would like to confirm his actual burial place.Records in Little Rock National Cemetary show he was buried there Oct 1913, with an *astreik beside his name indicating it has not been proven he is buried there in Plot 890.Another record shows he is buried in National Cemetary in Illinois. The main reason I am trying to find out is Asa Joyner Shrum died in Pulaski Co Ark June 14,1864 and was also buried in Little Rock Nat Cemetary, but they do not have his name on the roster as being buried there.I think they possiably made a mistake and have Joel Shrums stone at Asa Joyner Shrums Grave. The only way I know to prove this is if you could find out for sure if Joel F Shrum is indeed buried in National Cemetary in Illinois and if this is the same Joel Shrum. Thanks in advance for your help,I would like to know if Asa Joyner Shrum is buried in Little Rock Nat and feel he should also be honored with a stone.Again, Thanks, Louann Bonham lbonham@brightok.net
