Shrum, census records reveal only one by that name, and he is recorded as being buried in two different places, Little Rock National and Liberty Riddlin Cemetery in Illinois. My curiosity is aroused by who they might have actually buried in the Confederate section of the Little Rock National Cemetery. If Asa Shrum occupies Joel F Shrum’s grave, they have a Union man in the Confederate section.
