Re: A Question about Dallas, Ar. during the C.W.l

Dear Deanna Andrews,

You posted the following:

*****My gggrandfather was also B F Howard. Dallas used to be the county seat of Polk County before it changed to Mena. If you have any more info on B F Howard please let me know. Thank you.******

My great grandfather was Benjamin F. Howard, who lived in Polk County Arkansas and enlisted in 4th Arkansas Infantry of the CSA.. Marion P. Howard, who was Benjamin F. Howard's son. One of Marion P Howard's children was Benjamin C. Howard who was my father, he passed away in 2007. At my father's funeral, I saw B.F's grave at the Cherry Hill Cemetery.

How does your family tree lead back to B.F. Howard ?

We must cousins since B.F. was your gggrandfather.

Galena, Kansas
