I have not come across anything that hints to the exact location of Camp Hope/Nelson (yet). I think the Camp Nelson Cemetery is the second burial place of epidemic victims. It would be interesting to comb that part of Lonoke County to find springs that could support a large encampment. I am sure that an ample water supply would have been there. Col. Morgan described it as a "pleasant neighborhood."
