Byran and Bob, thanks. I have been to the present day location of the cemetary several times. And the men buried there were interred somewhere else in the neighborhood first. I guess I need to be more specific in my question.
Are there any period descriptions of the location of Camp Hope/Nelson? I realize there will be no "x marks the spot" as the men were spread out somewhat due to sanitation purposes and from the sheer numbers camped at the location. But some description that could be co-ordanated with modern day maps or period maps.
