John Rose, Private, Co. G, 5th Arkansas Infantry

My wife's Gr. Gr. Grandfather's name is John Rose. He was from Big Flat, Arkansas. He died Aug. 8th 1913 and is buried in the Big Flat cemetery. I am trying to find out if the John Rose, Private, Co. G, 5th Arkansas Infantry is the same person as my wife's G G Grandfather. I have found 3 other John Rose's listed on the Ark. confederate widows pension website but none of those are the correct person.
