Clay,

There is a marker near the intersection of highways 70 and 165. I do not remember exactly what is states, but I do recall that it indicates that the duel was fought
near highway 70 where it is intersected by Atkins street. The last time I was there, several years ago, there was a trailer park at the location. That is where my Dad told me it was fought. There used to be (in the 60s) an old plantation house there.
