Lt. Fielding Price was picked up around Augusta by some men on patrol out from DeValls Bluff if I remember right.
It was about Nov. 25th, 1864, that is off the top of my head- with several other men. I found this out by
sitting down with a book called Rebel's Hell and spending a week on it.
Fielding Price took the smallpox and died on Feb. 1, 1865 in Little Rock at the Yankee Prison.
