Two brothers in my family line were both killed in the Civil War. Capt. Griffin Bayne of Rapley's Sharpshooters was killed and buried at Battle of Franklin. His brother, "McCullock Guards," Captain George W. Bayne, appointed July 24, 1861, was also killed but I don't know where. How can I find this out. I have looked at microfilm in my area but haven't been able to find it. Any help will be appreciated.
